Warranty Policy

Seeth Designs is not responsible for warrantying any part of the balisong if it has been modified or altered with parts not sold on the Seeth Designs website. Warranties are specific to each product sold by Seeth Designs. Different products will have different warranty policies, specific terms for each product can be found below.

Regardless of the products age, pervious ownership, or current production status (within reason) all products can be fixed by Seeth Designs at the cost of the current owner of the product. Cost for fixes will vary on the damage to the product, the availability of parts, and shipping cost both from the customer to Seeth Designs and back.

Every balisong is carefully inspected and tuned prior to shipping. If you have issues with the tune of your balisong upon arrival please get in contact with Seeth Designs as we will help guide you through solving the issues, however, a replacement balisong or free parts on the basis of a “bad tune” or personal preference will not be provided.

Disassembly of Seeth Designs products, with the exception of parts glued or molded together, is NOT a violation of any warranty provided by Seeth Designs. Every customer of Seeth Designs has the right to repair their product with provided or purchased extra hardware correctly fitted to the specific product. Damages caused to products due to improper or mishandled disassembly is not covered by warranty and must be paid for by the customer unless specifically stated below.

Warranty Specifics

Prototype Pharaoh (resin)

Prototype Pharaohs are a numbered product, the buyer must provide photo evidence of the color of the blade and handles along with the prototype number that can be found on the blade. The prototype number as well as blade/handle color must match the internal archive at Seeth Designs for any warranty to apply.

This warranty covers only broken blades and broken handles. Issues with hardware are not covered under warranty and must be taken up with the originally supplier Nabalis. Shipping for these products is not covered under warranty and so must be paid for by the customer.

Any prototype not under warranty will still be serviced by Seeth Designs for a cost. Consumer incurs all expenses.

Pharaoh v1/1.5

Pharaohs are a numbered product, the buyer must provide photo evidence of the color of the blade and handles along with the run and specific balisong number that can be found on the numbered card provided in the original packaging. The run and balisong number as well as blade/handle color must match the internal archive at Seeth Designs for any warranty to apply.

This warranty covers only broken or cracked outer shells on originally provided handles for no cost to the customer for shipping or replacement. Customers can choose between v1 or v1.5 shells as they see fit.

Any Pharaoh not under warranty will still be serviced by Seeth Designs for a cost. Consumer incurs all expenses.

Sultan v1

Sultans are a numbered product, the buyer must provide photo evidence of the color of the blade and handles along with the run and specific balisong number that can be found on the numbered card provided in the original packaging. The run and balisong number as well as blade/handle color must match the internal archive at Seeth Designs for any warranty to apply.

This warranty covers only broken or cracked outer shells on originally provided handles for no cost to the customer for shipping or replacement.

Any Sultan not under warranty will still be serviced by Seeth Designs for a cost. Consumer incurs all expenses.

Sentient (resin)

Sentients are a numbered product, the buyer must provide photo evidence of the color of the blade and handles along with the serial number found on the bite side of the blade. The serial number as well as blade/handle color must match the internal archive at Seeth Designs for any warranty to apply.

This warranty provides a discount on broken blades or handles whereby the customer pays $5 USD plus shipping for each piece they need replaced. Replacement pieces will be printed in the original color (if still available) with the original serial number marked either blemished or not depending on the original condition at sale.

Any Pharaoh not under warranty will still be serviced by Seeth Designs for the full cost of parts labor and shipping. Consumer incurs all expenses.
