The Seeth Designs Damascus custom re-blade is a unique, numbered blade with dark laser etching that is sure to stand out in any collection. The damascus pattern is designed to make the blade look like it is made of damascus metal. Damascus metal is a combination of high carbon and lower carbon steels that are forge welded and then twisted together before being cut into the blade shape. Once the blade is cut you can acid etch the piece and the different carbon steels with react differently to the acid, giving damascus its signature swirls.
This blade is compatible with ALL Vulps and Teflon Vulps (including 0.5mm and 0.8mm washers), however NOT the Vulp pro. The laser etching is dark, however, does not cut into the surface of the blade ensuring consistent tolerances.
